Sending studies via email
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Email configuration for your organization (sender name, reply-to, etc.) — set up by your admin if not already done
- At least one email template
- Study is Live (recommended before sending)
- Optional: participant sample with email addresses
Send from a study
Section titled “Send from a study”- Open Surveys or Usability Tests.
- Click Distribute on a study card.
- Select the Email tab → Distribution wizard.
Step 1 — Compose
Section titled “Step 1 — Compose”- Choose an email template
- Edit subject and body
- Insert variables for personalization
- Select language variant if applicable
Step 2 — Recipients
Section titled “Step 2 — Recipients”- Pick an existing participant sample, or
- Enter email addresses manually
Samples are managed under Participant samples.
Step 3 — Review and send
Section titled “Step 3 — Review and send”- Review recipient count and message preview
- Confirm send
FromUsers creates the sendout and delivers messages through SendPulse.
After sending
Section titled “After sending”- Recipients receive links to
/respond/{studyId}(or language-specific URLs) - Opens and clicks are tracked automatically for each recipient.
View aggregate stats in Message tracker.
Cancel a sendout
Section titled “Cancel a sendout”Authorized users can cancel in-flight sendouts via the email-sendouts API when supported by campaign state.
Reminders
Section titled “Reminders”Invite or remind participants from the Participants page for studies already linked to samples. See Participant samples.
